Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is in full swing at Timberlake Elementary school this week! Tomorrow will be pajama day! Students will enjoy being comfortable as they settle in for Wednesday library classes! First grade students will enjoy Halloween-inspired stories! Second grade students will continue their author study of Maurice Sendak while watching the Where the Wild Things Are. Third and fourth graders will continue their study of the Mystery Genre while creating their own suspenseful stories! Fifth graders will enjoy DEAR...drop everything and read....time! Sixth graders will hear Chapter 3 in Every Soul a Star by Wendy Mass. Ally, Bree, and Jack (the main characters in the story) will share more adventures in this story. Encourage your children to return their library books tomorrow so that new ones may be selected and checked out!
