During Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten storytimes today at the elementary library, the children will enjoy One is a Feast for Mouse and Arthur's Thanksgiving! One is a Feast for Mouse is a precious Thanksgiving story by Judy Cox. A mouse who lives in a family's clock observes the family during Thanksgiving and gets a little hungry. So...he scampers over to the family's thanksgiving table and finds a few treats for himself which he stacks up to take back to his hidey hole. However, the family cat spoils his plans! He is left with just one green pea to feast on for Thanksgiving in the end. In Arthur's Thanksgiving, Arthur is put in charge of directing the school Thanksgiving play. Finding a turkey proves to be a challenge for him, however. Arthur will have to be creative and persevere to find the star for the play! Both of these selections are available for checkout at the Timberlake Elementary Library this holiday season!
